Our Business Philosophy We believe that our clients should make the business decisions that make sense for them. Our goal is not to make your decisions for you.We want to provide you with the information and resources so that you can manage your career in a way you feel comfortable with. We believe that the relationship we have with our artists should be one that is cooperative, not combative. We aim to develop an interaction with each of our artists that is based on mutual respect and common goals. We feel strongly that any artist should have access to all markets and resources regardless of ability or pocketbook size.It is our aim to create a truly cooperative environment where creativity is encouraged and new ideas are embraced. Our Company At an informal round table discussion in the summer of 1999, the idea for V.M.G. was created. The discussion took place in our CEO's living room and may have involved several rounds of malt beverages. There were several musicians there, including the original members of Porno Pete and the Marinators, discussing the state of the local musician. Most all agreed that there were very limited marketing opportunities and even less advertising dollars available. That initial "meeting" was the first step in the creation of a brand new business model. A plan that melds artistic control with corporate sponsorship. A partnership that benefits both the artist and the business. |
